Description

Filled with Sandra Boynton’s humorous, colorful drawings and lively text, this counting board book featuring a menagerie of energetic animals is an adventure with numbers that kids and their parents will love.

How many animals will you see? A whole lot more than ONE, TWO, THREE! A wacky crew of hippos, cats, pigs, and cows lead kids from a quiet One to a “LOUD LOUD LOUD” Ten and back to quiet One again.

ONE is good for a quiet walk.
TWO is right for a quiet talk.
THREE is nice for having tea
or for counting ONE, TWO, THREE!

About the Author

Sandra Boynton is a popular American cartoonist, children’s author, songwriter, producer, and director. Since 1974, Boynton has written and illustrated over seventy-five children’s books and seven general audience books, including five New York Times bestsellers. More than 85 million of her books have been sold, “mostly to friends and family,” she says. She has also written (with Michael Ford) and produced six albums of renegade children’s music. Three of her six albums have been certified Gold (over 500,000 copies sold) and Philadelphia Chickens, nominated for a Grammy, has been certified Platinum (over 1 million copies sold). Boynton has also directed twelve music videos of her songs, including the award-winning “One Shoe Blues” starring B.B. King, “Alligator Stroll” starring Josh Turner, and “Tyrannosaurus Funk” (animated) sung by Samuel L. Jackson. She lives in rural New England, and her studio is in a barn with perhaps the only hippopotamus weathervane in America.

Praise for One, Two, Three!: A Happy Counting Book (Boynton on Board)

“Amusing as ever, Boynton has created a counting book that shares the joys of friends (hippos, cats, pigs, cows and more) in groups as well as the pleasure of a solitary walk by one. The pictures are funny and the scenes are quite different from those found in the usual counting books. A treat for all.”
— Children's Literature

“The popular illustrator and greeting-card artist brings oddball humor and plenty of sassy energy to Boynton on Board…A zany sensibility gives an extra bounce to the otherwise conventional counting book One, Two, Three!”
— Publishers Weekly
